  1. I liked Hayes two seasons ago. Last season, not so much. But like my POV on Flethcer, considering KH injury, I'll hold permanent judgement til this season. Day by day judgement, bitching, whining and overall pissyness will still be on a post by post basis
  2. WORD JUMBLE! Scott Laughton is not a realistic preferred player in today's NHL
  3. Hard pass is why Hayes is slow and lazy. I'm telling you that guy is baked more than Grandma's famous apple pie
  4. this sounds a little contradictory. If the Flyers think the coaching staff is sound, which they must becasue they haven't made any changes, then moving to all young players would not work out if one of the coaches "could care less" about those players. If you think having a coach who is good with veterans is the right move, then you don't go youth movement. You obviously have to bring in veterans to support the team's coaching philosophy I don't see them making any moves behind the bench, but I do think we will see a significantly different lineup when the season starts. I guess we will see if your thoery is correct
  5. i don't think Farabee is going anywhere I had a niece get married. It was my first trip to Cananda
  6. that was my plan, but apparently they dont need anyone to play broken wing
  7. I'm back from vacay, 4 days in Minnesota, so I'm energized.
  8. whatever the scenario, as long as he is GONE! I feel like this is ground zero for the Flyers
  9. Taking the last few seasons as a whole, I'm not really sure what it is everyone expected Fletcher to do. He traded for Nisky and that really turned things around. It was a plus. Pitlick was a plus. Thompson and Grant weren't. But if some people here want to blame it on covid, then make it a blanket, not selective. When the Flyers were making their playoff run, Fletcher was good. When they fell apart, he sucked, even though the team was essentially the same I still prefer to wait an see what he does now. The rubber has met the road. If he screws up, I dont think he will be here too much longer And if you're a fan who thinks all is lost, there is no chance anything can get better, and Fletcher is incapable of doing a single thing right, I don't know, maybe you should watch a different sport or hit the off button
  10. So what response is acceptable, one that you pre-approve?
  11. I'm not sure I would hate this, as long as Jake is gone
  12. If it's true that the Flyers can't get Jones to sign an extension, then I agree, move on If not true, I make the move
  13. And because he an a-hole, and the Flyers are letting it be known that he's out!
  14. This is how I have been feeling all along. Voracek is the driving force behind dysfunction and and division. I think he has a few key allies in this, namely JVR. I came to this assumption by watching his play and reading several reports alluding to him being unhappy and pissy. No matter what, HE NEEDS TO GO. as soon as he, and jvr are left unprotected, it will get worse. They will take it as a slight against them, and I suspect they will do whatever to get moved. After all, they are getting paid, no matter what. If they stay and suck, they get thier money and will blame the Flyers. If they get moved, they get paid and will have a fresh start The Flyers absolutely need to do this to change the culture of the team
  15. Can we trade Patrick for Pat Maroon? He is a 3x cup winner
  16. well then, he can eat schidt! but you make a good point
  17. i'm going to silently whisper something to you that I will openly deny if you repeat it... I hope they don't take NAK
  18. I agree they need that type of leader. But with this current group, I don't think it would matter. They need to send a strong message that backs up this "winning culture" they want sometimes you have to shoot a hostage
  19. i think its precisely this. I think a couple of prima dona millionaires arent on board wtih the coaching staff and are only interested in their paycheck. maybe they are trying to get their ass shipped out to a contender as well Think about it. We fans are blaming Fletch for not making any moves to replace Nisky, and don't think he "has a plan". Why can't a player think the same way?
  20. Im hearing Ghost to Seattle. That would be a good move for us. I'd like to keep him, but his window closed of the 26 names on this UFA list, I don't know a single one. I didn't bother to read the article. It required a free sign up and Im just too lazy. I spent enough time today just getting my SWA rapid rewards figured out I wonder if we read tomorrow that someone is bought out. JAKE?
  21. Im still holding on to the thought that there is a cancer in the locker room. If I am reading you right, we should be expecting strong seasons out of TK, NAK, G, Coots and <cough-cough> Laughton (I just threw up in my mouth). We shouldn't be wondering WTF we might be getting get rid of Jake and JVR and watch what happens
  22. If I'm coach, Coots is a lock, so is Provy and Hart. I guess Giroux because the upper execs say so And Morin, as long as he beats the dog water out of someone every game
  23. interesting statement. TK, by now, should have shown enough to know where he should be, If not, then that's a big problem. Allison... Has he shown ENOUGH to know anything? Sure he looks good now, but so did TK, and NAK , and a bunch of others. I suggested this to ron jeremy and his head damn near exploded. I think Allison needs to make it out of camp first, then slot in low, and earn anything more. The Flyers are great for rushing a player to stardom, only to watch him fizzle out or succeed elsewhere
