This kid Owen Power is going to be a great defenseman. Great offensive D man just like Dahlin. Both can QB a power play. Of course Dahlin is ahead of him , has played a bit longer. Owen scored the game winner in Dallas last night vs a very goo goalie, beating him on a very well placed shot. Not sure which Blues team shows up tonight. Yes I like the Blues very much. Just not tonight. Schenn is some kind of player. They have some good youth on that team also. i feel the Sabres can skate with anyone. Have the speed to. Every game is big now if we are to sneak in. Pittsburgh and Florida go at it tonight. Both of them along with Islanders are n our sights. This is a very young Sabres team. Youngest in the NHL. But very promising. Dahlin is having a great year, Cozens is really turning into a great player, Thompson and Olofsson already are. Jack Quinn and Paternka are both good young players. I am keeping my fingers crossed they do not trade any of these guys I like. I say trade Jokuharu. I would dance on the tables.

I think its likely Tampa gets revenge for that blowout up in Minnesota. Defensive minded Lightning may win this one vs the Wild who have cooled off of late.

The names being tossed around include one Buffalo native Patrick Kane. No way. Not worth the high price. No more. We are better off without the distraction. Watching Ryan Miller in broadcast booth with Marty Biron, Sabres up on Ducks, Ryan’s last team. He is in stands with family. On Monday the Dallas Stars come in. Boston, Buffalo and Dallas lead in goals for at moment. The Sabres have a chance to make a run. Miller said Dylan Cozens his son Bodi’s favorite player now as Cozens handed Millers son his stick after game winning goal in OT vs Islanders.

You could not help but be struck with emotion if you are a Sabres fan and listening to Miller last night! Many of his former great teammates were their and Hasek and Briere honored him from afar. Stafford, Vanek, Pommer, Roy, and many more attended Pegula and Rick Jeanorette. Just a great night and it was capped off with a tough win over the Islanders. Ryan did much for the community of Buffalo and will never be forgotten.

Bad enough they blow 3-1 lead after a beautiful breakaway goal by Krebs, lose in OT to worst team in NHL, but Hinestroza released and God knows why. Hw works. Granato best right the ship fast or he is next to go. Not how they wanted to go into Miller’s night. If they cant beat Islanders at home then what? They had played lights out in Boston and Nashville and vs Wild at home. Then one stinker after another. They did hit a bunch of posts last night and outshot the miserable Hawks, but should have beaten them.

This should be interesting. Seattle have won 8 in a row. Now back on the West coast after sweeping their East coast road trip. Very impressive so far.

Im sure the thinking was play Luukenen on the road. They need to send Comrie to Rochester if they already have not? But not sure if they cannot due to some rules? Luukenen is our best goalie. We need to live or die with him this year. We are right there and I am hoping we win this game. We should beat the Hawks tomorrow? Florida has really dropped since the beginning of the year. Boy did Nashville turn the puck over last night. A real sloppy mess were they and they have had many a good result in last couple months. Have been able to score more than in years past. Last night they were A TRAINWRECK. Just in time for my boys to cash in. Florida comes in tomorrow. I like our chances to stop the bleeding at home. The goal by Cozens was a beauty. Jack Quinn was not gone long. Recalled he flipped the puck out of the zone right to a waiting Paterka who made a perfect pass to Cozens who then finished the job. Luukenen came up big in the third when he had to. I do not want to see the other two bums again unless no choice in a back to back situation. Luukenen is our guy.

Im not so sure. His wife health issues kept his eyes away but I think he still cares about Sabres. The Bills are much closer than the Sabres right now and Brandon Beane is far better than Adams

You know, I actually forgot about thar? Did he play in Buffalo? In hockey so many trades sometimes former players forgotten. Like Larrson (former Sabre) and Swarfz (former Blue). On the red hot Seattle Kracken who just left Boston after 3-0 win.

The biggest name I see in this lineup is Swartz. The former Blues star. He was a big loss for the Blues along with Pietrangelo. This Kracken team is on fire. The game at Buffalo was a fight to the finish and I believe with Luukenen we would have had better results. But they swept their East coast trip and beating Boston 3-0, is a very good result. They have everything going for them, true they are not going to light you up with 50 shots. But they are hot and look like they are going to make the playoffs. They have to be very happy in Seattle.

Yes we lost the game to a defensive minded Winnipeg team. Older vets like Wheeler are tough in the crease vs these 20 year olds. The breakaway goal was the winner breaking a 2-2 tie. I the days of in the crease not being allowed , it would not have been allowed. I do not like it. He basically plows into the goalie with the puck and drives the puck in. I wish they would change that rule. The game was not Luukenens fault. The first goal he was totally screened on a fluke shot. The Sabres played well but their goalie, ranked 2nd in the league from what I heard, was tough all night. So they lose 3 at home, but two with those two bums in goal. I do not know the truth. Was Luukenen sick or simply demoted to Rochester because of Comrie's return. I wish they would just release Comrie and Anderson both. Let the Amerks goalie be the backup. It wont happen but when season ends at least one will be gone, hopefully both.

Your winning and your goalie that finally find has won 5 in a row and is the only damn goalie you have that is any good, and what do you do? You send him to Rochester. Then you lose to Flyers without even giving a top effort, proven by the shots. Yes the Flyers goalie was hot that night. Backup goalies always try to impress. Then Seattle comes in. A team that is on fire. It was a horse race, the Sabres played pretty well. But not like they did vs the Wild. I can see that this team is disappointed that Luukenen was sent down. They believed in him. They do not believe in these other two bums. And why should they? Granato has to be pissed. His job might be on the line now? If they just fall out of it. And without Luukenen, they damn well might. This is the worst move I have seen in years. And sending Pilut down is crap also. They are just hell bent on Jokuharu. I cant stand that over rated defenseman You have Dahlin, who should be on the all star team, not sure if he will be? Power who is having a great rookie season. And this useless Jokuharu. Wish him and Adams were shown the door. Pegula has to do something because nobody else does. I guess they will just cheer for the Bills and let the Sabres continue to rebuild. Well they did win in Buffalo but I believe the Sabres played this game in protest to the idiots sending Luukenen to Rochester. sooo damn stupid. I hate the GM Adams. We had a winning streak going, lead the NHL in goals and this backup goalie shuts them out. But what is worse is the very low shot count. Unlike them. its the team protesting Luukenen. I guarantee it. Its a ******** move by Adams. The kid was on fire and he is rewarded by being sent here to Rochester.

Im not worried because I know this young Sabres team is on the rise. This Seattle team is really a surprise. Went into Toronto and blew them out. Should beat hapless Canadians tonight. Now that is a bad team right now.
