So, do we use both our first rounders this summer on Centers that can actually win a face-off (mindful of the fact that our first two picks last year; Ross, Khusnutdinov are supposedly centers)??? Unless Minnesota wants something specific like a sniper winger or defenseman, it's never a bad idea to draft centers. What's great about those is, even if they don't work out down the middle, they may make excellent playmaking wingers. My other team, the Lightning have done that for years. Draft down the middle, if the player doesn't quite work there, they have very good wingers with a hint of center IQ.
TropicalFruitGirl26
Man, has Parise lost speed (was he ever really fast to begin with?). He starts up ice BEFORE the team starts the play, and he STILL gets caught up to by everyone else.
EmptyShelf
Man Baby just needs to retire. One decent rush and he cannot back check and then turn and go back down the ice. Rau just blew past him. The footspeed of Suter and Parise is a REAL problem - and there are YEARS left on these contracts. INSANITY to give them 13 year deals into 40s. They were never fast to begin with SMFH

EmptyShelf
Rask CANNOT be on our PP. He is too slow and does not possess the puck well enough. If they don't score here, series OVER
