IMO this is a bit of a trap game. The Wild didn't play that great on Tuesday, hopefully the day off with the holiday allows them to get their legs back which clearly were fatigued against the Devils. lynxrattle
Like a song way back in the day said: "kick'em when they fall down, kick'em when they fall down". The Jets clearly have a Parise/Suter problem in Wheeler/Scheifele. One is too old to achieve much anymore, the other does not leave the stage for younger talent. We got humiliated often enough by them when Byfuglien was still playing. Now it is our turn to humiliate them. Too bad they have a string a losses behind them. If they have any sense of pride left in when, I would expect them to fight back in this one. Still I would say that we win, let's say by a score of 4- 2. ClusterChuck
Never too early to be thinking of extending point space. Jets only 3pts back. 1 or 2 more here would be a nice start to the homestand. Let's go with Wild 4 - Jets 3.
TropicalFruitGirl26
Wild continue this tough stretch in their schedule, still with a chance to finish above .500 before facing the "lowly" Coyotes. Jets today, then the Lightning once again, this time at the X, on Sunday. Minnesota doesn't seem to care who they play though. It's just, "put'em in front, and we will beat them", and that kind of attitude is fantastic, and will lead to wins they probably shouldn't be getting on some game days. TropicalFruitGirl26
Weird to see the Wild being the more physically aggressive team vs the Jets. Usually, these match ups with WPG favor them in the physicality and overall hitting department. Minnesota with some wicked finishes so far. Talk about having a "we should win this game" attitude... Wild certainly have that this season.

TropicalFruitGirl26
Goofy goal, but it counts all the same! 2-0 Minnesota. As they say....pucks towards net, good things happen. And they did!

TropicalFruitGirl26
LOL Pionk. Sounded like he tried getting too bossy with Greenway with a big hit.... Greenway showed him why little men shouldn't mess with Sasquatch
TropicalFruitGirl26
Man. Neal Pionk just NOT having a good game so far vs Jordan Greenway. WPG head coach may wanna consider assigning someone else to Greenway.
MNSOTA
I don’t know about anyone else, but the warm up jerseys designed by the Dakota Nation from Prairie Island were awesome. Edited November 26, 2021 by MNSOTA

Thing is, looking at WPG's defense corps, they really don't have many guys to match up size wise with Greenway. Maybe Brendan Dillon, who is usually Pionk's partner? TropicalFruitGirl26
At the risk of jinxing him, Cam Talbot, looking razor sharp.
TropicalFruitGirl26
Seriously though. Overall, the Wild look very much like the more aggressive, dominating physical team out there. Minnesota may finally have hit on the right mix of skill and grinding.
