No disrespect Minsota but I  think the Coyotes are not the ones stopping the move.
Gary Bettman is the one stopping the move. For some reason he would rather have a terrible team, without a fan base, in Arizona than a good team anywhere else.

Whoever is blocking it, it doesn’t make sense.

For whatever reason, Buttman took all that circus around the Coyotes personally from the day the League bought the franchise. So he would do anything to keep them there, just to show he's right. He just don't care anymore if keeping them in AZ make sense or not and you can't make a donkey drink if he's not thirsty.

On another hand, I'm a bit crazy but I still think the NHL can be successful there. AZ is still a large market and a good sports market in general. However, the Coyotes did more or less everything wrong from the day they arrived in the desert and the franchise still have this burden on its back. The move in Glendale was an epic failure and a huge mistake on top of that. I still think (well in theory now) that this team could (or could have been) work there with decent ownership and management that put a good product on the ice on a constant basis. It's still a non traditional market so you have to be good year after year given the versatile fanbase.

Arizona has a dumpster fire of a front office. It really seems like they can't make up their minds on a direction for the club, so they just develop talent and then ship it off.

Fleury witha 3rd start? Is Talbot dinged or are they resting their playoff starter?, because I don't see Fleury's play deserving to be our #1.

From what they said, Injury not as bad as 1st thought and should be ready for PO's.

Yeah. just heard that. That is positive news. Getting the club back to full strength or as close as possible for the playoffs is crucial.
