We're not going to "out-Tank" the current bottom feeders at this point. Even if we did drop most of our games, Sure we get a little better pick but that doesn't guarantee anything. The Wild haven't ever 'tanked' for picks so why on earth would anyone expect them to do it now?? Coughing up a point to the Sabres tonight doesn't help the cause and the schedule gets tougher now. Tomdog Posted February 18 Share Posted February 18 I was thinking the same thing. At this point the Wild won’t be able to out lose the other teams that have decided to go for the draft pick. IMO their best option is to audition their prospects, get what they can for the ones they don’t see being in their future, make the playoffs and have the other teams they play have horrible luck. They do have a fighting chance of winning some series if say they play Winnipeg and their goalie falls seriously ill, or the other teams entire 1st line gets injured.
