hf101
The jacket had a "stop" sign on the back and a "yield" sign on the front. "That's my on ice, just a little bit of extra protection. Guys notice the stop sign and yield so they don't run me over," said Ruff after practice.
Podein25
Wouldn't it just make more sense for the players not to be taking runs at him from behind at practice? Don't get me wrong, I would, the guy seems douchebaggy, but discipline is called for.
hf101
@Podein25That makes probably too much sense. I'm thinking the stop sign needs to be much larger.
AlaskaFlyerFan
I like the 3 white "stripes". Symbolizes the 3 broken ribs, eh?
Vanflyer
@hf101- I have to say its pretty ingenious for him to be on the ice with a jacket the same colors as the unis the team are practicing with. If he doesn't want to be hit, why doesn't he have a jacket made like their yellow no contact practice jerseys. He certainly would stand out allot more than putting two minuscule stop signs on your back.
hf101
hahaha, yep! A bright yellow jacket with a big Stop sign ought to do the trick.
Vanflyer
@hf101They could make it like a school bus- with the pop-up stop sign on his arm or something.
jammer2
@Vanflyer HA HA.....hilarious van, yes...it would seem a different colour may do the job quite nicely!! Hey, maybe that's why million dollar quarterbacks wear red jersey's in NFL practice...who knew?!?! Edited March 18, 2012 by jammer2
