off_the_post
I liked how he played the past 2 games. It is nice seeing that he can skate. I don't know how much he will get to play, more with AM's shoulder injury, but at least he keep up with a play.
Podein25
@off_the_postAgreed. He was solid last night. Got caught a few times but is quick enough to recover. Plus RH and he got a few pucks through to the net
flyerrod
The frustrating thing is how did he get to the NHL with his 50MPH slap shot......He does seem to play decent positionally but he is not a guy who is going to inspire fear with his "cannon" shot...... Podein25
how did he get to the NHL with his 50MPH slap shot..You could say the same thing about Carle or Luke Schenn, or any number of D-men with lousy shots.
off_the_post
Have you seen Timo take a slapper? I was shocked he could break Hartnell's foot. Either way I find it nice that we can at least go to the stables and pull out somebody that can skate and not just a 6'3+ 230+ immobile defenseman. He is what he is. None of your 5th to 8th dmen are going to have it all. He at least brings something different than the rest.
