If you watch the first GIF you might be tempted to think that Smith is guilty of embellishment: Fortunately however, someone was able to capture the entire sequence of events, which clearly show this was no embellishment: Amazingly, Smith's wounds are not serious and he is not expected to miss any playing time. yave1964 Posted December 20, 2013 Share Posted December 20, 2013 I have saw three games this year where the pressure is on in his zone and BAM! he falls down hurt, requiring trainer, the family priest his wife and kids called to the rink. I may be hyperbolizing slightly. Anyway, he cools down the play, his team regroups and someone sprinkles water on him from Lourdes and he gets the game going again. ALL THREE TIMES his team has went on to win this year. IMHO a delay of game penalty needs to be called on him every single time he does this stuff. He is notorious for this, has been doing it for years but it is getting out of hand. Slap a couple of minors on him and see what happens from there.
