Last year, ahem, i don't want to talk about it, i chose the Senators, but hey, meatloaf said two out of three aint bad, so here we are again, ready for the start of a new season and time to prognosticate. So without further adieu, here are my picks for the 2014-15 season. DIVISION WINNERS: TAMPA, PENGUINS, CHICAGO, ANAHEIM...... TEAMS THAT WILL SURPRISE: Nashville, the Devils and the Canucks........... TEAMS THAT WILL DISSAPOINT: Red wings, the Bruins, and Avalanche............. FIRST COACH FIRED: Randy Carlyle.............. CALDER TROPHY WINNER: Either Drouin in Tampa or Gaudreau in Calgary............... HART and ART ROSS TROPHY: Stamkos................ VEZINA: Carey Price..................... BIGGEST BUST OF THE YEAR Jonas Hiller (Calgary)Iginla (Colorado) Bolland (Florida)...................... STANLEY CUP FINALS: Sure as hell not Ottawa............... yave1964 Posted September 28, 2014 Author Share Posted September 28, 2014 I have the Bruins as a team that wlll disappoint, i still think they are a playoff team but a 6-8 seed as the forwards are weaker than any time in years and although they have outstanding young talent on defense, Chara is another year older. I know a lot of peopleare picking them to win the East, i see them slipping to a middle of the pack club. A lot better than my Wings who i don't believe will even make the playoffs.
