A certain player plays good for the tournament (19 year olds expecially), and all of a sudden he's apparently going to be the next thing in the NHL. At the end of the day work preparation and heart and determination is what will separate them all...some can handle the pressure and many crack from it... He'll have plenty of time to play in the AHL. They have lost a good portion of this year in his development with the way the KHL treated him so i expect at least next year to be spent in junior. I would agree with this...Rubtsov basically hasn't been allowed to develop much since he was drafted...he's going to have to do that, live in a completely different culture and learn not one, but two languages living in Chicoutimi. I think there is a lot here to like with this kid but he must be given the right environment to achieve this and in juniors i think it will be brought out of him. I have seen a lot of clips of this kid with his skillset that made my jaw drop. He didn't just forget how to play like that. Confidence can go a long ways these days and he needs to just find his. Would Hexy be tempted to call him up this year???? Greg Carey scored the other two. All this guys does scores goals I would love to see him get a chance on the 3rd or 4th lines on the Flyers if they could clear some dead weight. I think a light has come on for him. I know it will be hard for Hexy to not be tempted to bring him up to look at him if for no other reason than an ata boy!!! Also when he decides i would be socked if Hexy brought him and Sam up to play as a tandem. They play together now and even live together under the same roof.
