I don't like the way Anthony LaPanta phrased that:
"Wild will try to hang onto the lead against the top team in the West"

Should have been:
"Wild will try to EXPAND the lead against the top team in the West"

That little thing is all the difference between a good team and a mediocre one.

Or a good announcer and a mediocre one.

sorry but were working Kaprizov way too much. He may be able to handle it but we shouldn't keep doing it.

IMO, of bigger concern is either Kaprizov needs to realize his teammates aren't quite his equal in speed, agility, and hockey IQ....
OR, the team will need to step their game up to at least learn to anticipate Kirill better.

Guy is making some slick moves, drop passes, and NO ONE on the Wild seems to know he is going to do it!
Lots of wasted opportunities.

Or Mayhew. He can bring a lot of sparks and speed. Sincerely, I do not care about his age because I like his play.

You know, I never viewed either Kyle Rau or Gerald Mayhew as any sort of answers long term for the team, but they DO remind me of the journeyman callups the Tampa Bay Lightning relied on some years back while they filled their roster with skill players:

Guys who played hard every shift, were hungry enough to push even when they were overmatched, and like you said, provide a spark when the "highly paid NHL'ers" seem worn out.

In that role, both Rau and Mayhew excel and the team could stand to play them a bit more.

LOL that pass wasn't too far for Suter he just refused to go get it.

What are your top 5 adjectives to describe Suter?  Mine are:

1)  Entitled

2)  Lazy

3)  Uninspiring

4)  Lethargic

5)  Millstone

does anyone on the wild give up the puck more then Rask

Rask has what we called 'muddy skates,' and he has inconsistent passes.  His skating limitations can make him ARCTIC cold when his hands aren't working
