You had me at "falsifiability"

I've always felt that hockey required wit, but until now thought I was alone in having that view.

Love his game, but still worry about him staying healthy. He still needs to add 20 lbs, mostly in the ass/legs.

Yeah, you're probably right.

He's gone. I'm guessing FLA

Good stuff. At this point in the proceedings, I'd be gobsmack shocked if Buff was traded. Jets fans love him. All Jets fans. So he will stay and Ladd will almost certainly go. It's not his team anymore anyway, it's Wheeler's.

I did as you said and checked out your comments on Wedgewood. Thanks for those, they are helpful. Several years away from the NHL presumably, but maybe an opportunity is all that someone who has ice in the veins requires.
Re: Wellwood, I also think you have him too high, although I like him plenty. I also don't see the resemblance at all to his brother, other than they are both relatively small. To me, they are almost completely opposite players.
Anyway, good read

You and Digity are doing great things. This site is a success and will grow. Eventually all the people at hfBoards need to migrate here. That might be hard, but with new innovations, it could happen.

Thanks, yes the one-way was the real difference maker I guess

@galgonWidl, why did Minny not sign Read? Seems like they shoulda...
-
Everbody had an interest in Read. He was arguably the most highly sought after College Free Agent. He chose Philly as much as Philly chose him. That's the kind of cache the Flyer brand has. I don't mean that in a smarmy way either - it's just a fact.
Minny already has their version of Matt Read - Casey Wellman. He could turn out to be a good one. A RH sniper is a valuable thing and he is still learning the NHL game after putting up decent AHL numbers. He's had trouble staying healthy though. Anyway, I digress.
Personally, I'm not interested in either Zidlicky or Zanon. The latter is too slow for me - a plodder - and Zidlicky has had a serious concussion recently. Too risky IMO.
Cheers

Good article. A little luck to be sure. And hard work and perseverance.
For me, one of the overlooked keys to becoming an NHL player is simply time spent with a puck. On your stick. Off your stick. In your feet. In the air. Up your nose....etc
It's critical.
