    The Arizona thing just doesn't make sense. Big market, yes, but most of the hockey fans are snowbirds or vacationers. Their attendance proves there isn’t enough support. I think Bettman is letting his pride influence his decisions.

    Correct on all counts Illa. I'm sure at some point Bedard is going to have to learn the D side of the game and then look out.

    All I want out of this game is for Faber and Rossi to score and Bedard to not.

    The Wild or Guerin? In my opinion there should be a worst GM award to offset the GM of the year award. BG would be a top candidate this year. Other than claiming Chisholm, getting a 3rd for Duhaime and trading for Bogosian, I don’t see much to brag about.

    If they're playing guys because the owner wants, we can give up hope on ever seeing them win a Cup.

    That's the whole get into the playoffs and anything can happen mindset. Get in and you're a chip,chair and a chance from a Stanley Cup. Reality is good, well constructed, well coached teams win the Cup. I believe this team is good, the rest not so much.

    Especially when some of those vets are playing like sandbags. Insane that on the days where the 4th line is pulling more than their weight, they still don't get playing time. Does Gaudreau and Johansson have something in their contracts about getting a minimum amount of ice time?

    Yea if they had Spurgeon, they wouldn't have Chisolm or Bogosian, and they would probably make the playoffs and lose in the 1st round. If the team had been honest with themselves they would have worked on their future instead of fighting a lost cause. They could have revamped their pathetic PP. They could have given their young guys more ice time and development. And the reward would have been a top 10 or better draft position and, a better PP, and a better 4th line. But that opportunity is long gone.

    That's 140 goals from the top of the lineup. Another 15 from the 4th line and another 40 from the D. That's 195 expected goals. Where do the other 65 come from?

    I guess I should amend my statement on the Wild's talent. The Wild's talent isn't as good as the casual fan thinks.

    Foligno, Zuccarello and Hartman have ntc as well. The only tradeable players are the ones no one would want to trade. Unless BG can work some magic or the players make a revival they will be another year older, another year slower. Just good enough to make the playoffs, if healthy, and lose in the first round. Our talent isn't as good as we think.

    Khusnutdinov definitely needs players that fit him better. Gaudreau can't keep up. But I don't know if they can afford to bring anyone else in? I don't know how much cap space they have left.

    Well the Wild did play well enough to be on pace for a #13 draft pick. Hip Hip Hooray #13.

    Watching this game does not instill a lot of hope for next year, when everyone will be another year older. Faber, Rossi, Khusnutdinov and Chisolm yes, everyone else, not so much.

    Another good shift by the 4th line, that doesn't get ice time.

    Hopefully they can get that guy from the Gustavsson trade.

    That play with Zuccarello and Kaprizov behind the net would work better if Zuccarello was right handed.
