  1. Don't look at here but the SOG were 16-8 to the Avs. Most of them quality A chances. Continue like this Wild and this will be uglier than waking up next morning next to your mother-in-law and asking "did you enjoy my crotch as much as I did yours?".
  2. I'm not sure if that's the reason only. The Avs seem to have better wheels without the puck, too.
  3. Hands down, Kaprizov is by far the best player in the Wild, Kahkonen a good second. Everyone else is just way way behind. Anyone disagree with him, huh?
  4. They've already let Kahkonen rot for ages, why not Wallstedt too...
  5. Man the Avs are lightning fast, every line. The Wild, not.
  6. That's pretty impressive, from both.
  7. Some fault? Looks like he was almost paid to fall asleep on Lemieux's goal. Everything he does in that shift looks so comical. https://www.nhl.com/video/lemieux-tallies-go-ahead-goal/t-326240718/c-9872004 There's got to be a trade in the works to ship Dumba out of Minnesota, eh?
  8. Pretentious marketing stunt! In the middle of a very bitter divorce trial... anyone know what 1+1 is.
  9. That is true but again, I would look it from another angle: those guys who get paid handsomely and have shown prowess before to score, need to start delivering it, now. It's beyond obvious Hartman won't score 40+ goals etc.
  10. I'm not sure downplaying Granlund's season and using linemates as an excuse for Fiala are plausible arguments. IMO the situation is vice versa: Fiala is one of the key players who should bring the best out of players around him. If he's a player who needs a TOP10 goal scorer/puck distributor in the league to make himself look good, he should be traded. The Wild can't afford to have $5 mil.+ players as sidekicks.
  11. ....and this season Granlund has completely outplayed Fiala. Funny how fast things change.
  12. "Great" depends on the perspective. Milan "Stone Hands" Lucic has as many goals as Kaprizov. He has to start scoring, too. Unlikely Foligno and Hartman can continue to score at this pace. Seems like he felt pretty lackadaisical about offseason training which could've caused a slow start to the season.
  13. #97 11 games, 2 goals, 9 points $9 mil. a year - 82nd in points in the league #17 11 games, 4 goals, 8 points, $2,875 mil. a year Dauym!
  14. Voted for the 2nd choice. The Sharks want him gone. The Flyers will sign him.
  15. And that isn't even your biggest problem. It's gonna take a while for your Sabres to get a talent of his caliber, say like 20 years. So hold on to that jersey.
  16. Shot, dead and buried last season. This season: 7 GP, 6 W 2.18 GAA, .934 SVV%. Plain wow. A perfect timing for a 33 year goalie in his contract season to perform like this. When Smith returns, DT will face a tough decision: split the time, still favor Smith or ride the hot hand as long as he's hot?
  17. My initial thought was and is what a great trade for Vegas. Eichel is a genuine high-end talent and Vegas IMO didn't give up any cornerstones. Tuch and Krebs have yet to show anything substantial and picks are always crapshoot. Slightly risky due to his injury but definitely interesting to see what Eichel could do in Vegas. I feel like the Sabres and the people around him were holding him back. EDIT: I think this thread is in the wrong forum.
