Colorado should be very motivated with their unexpectedly slow start, and they probably still remember the 8 - 3 mauling they gave us the last time we met. This game is the first game this season, that has the potential of giving us a really good glimpse at what our current roster is worth. I'm a little bit worried beforehand, but still hoping the match will bring forth a team willing to skate and compete.

KK looks a bit gassed at times coming back down the ice.  I wonder if he was in the same shape going into this year as last year?  Fiala has always bothered me on a line with another goal scorer.  He looks to shoot himself even when someone else is open (see Kap back post against Kraken for an easy tap-in which didn't happen).  Zucc doesn't do that.  EEK looks better with players of his offensive skill level (Foligno, Greenway - a notch or two below 97 and 22).  That is why he is not really a 1C, but a very good 2C.  They had better get it together, as they weaken one-two lines when playing together.
