I think it's now pretty obvious to EVERYONE in the league.... cover Kaprizov, cover Zuccarello (when he is in there that is), and the Wild aren't nearly as dangerous.

They leave Spurgeon open, he gets nothing, they left Hartman unmolested, but he made Colorado pay.

Such is going to be life for the Wild over the next 4 years.
Kap and Zuc will be covered with heavy blankets and it is going to HAVE to be different players throughout the lineup getting it done.

And due to the cap crunch Minnesota finds themselves in, it won't be likely they can get help for Kap and Zuc from outside.
Guys they have now or guys in the AHl are gonna have to step up.

Time to get the Kid Goal Scorers in the line-up consistently.  We need more threats, or they WILL blanket our two-three consistent goal scoring threats.  Se McKinnon - if you blanket him, the other two (and a D) will make you pay.  The Wild answer with...?  Role players that rarely score

Definitely.

The minute any of the young players in Iowa start showing they can handle big situations, they need to be up in the NHL to spread out the threats.
That's something a team like Ottawa is doing now.

Playing lots of young guys with some vets mixed in, taking their lumps, but those young guys have shown they can handle the workload and the NHL pace, they get taken out to the woodshed on some nights too, but, at the same time, they are growing by leaps n bounds.

Hoping the Wild have those kinds of young men in their system.

We clearly have skill than the Wild, so....how can you let them 8tichsplap you while outplaying you with skill!?!  You at least need to take advantage of the sandpaper aspect, if you give up the skill aspect.  We have been flat-backed four times in this game - time to turn the tables in Period 3 - win or no win.  Make them feel it.

That's why I never liked pairing Kap and Fiala. Top eggs in 1 basket.
Sit/trade ...oh the big guy ...what's his name...Oh Yeah Greenway. Bring up a Rossi or some threat.

Would've been a much more interesting test vs the AV's if we had our full team and not semi-Iowa.

Do we have a full team? I think this younger roster is getting a nice important experience against the best team in the league. Kuemper capable to give us a chance. We must to use it if we will shoot more towards his net.

How about just 1 or 2 guys at a time and not this unfortunate situation.

For me this is the best situation to bring young blood into the old vessels, which is always a beneficial in both way. To see who can step up from the team.
