The Flames should win this easily. They have the edge in the kind of play the Jets won us with, and they really should be fired up after them getting pummeled in their last game.

All signs seem to point towards the Wild losing this game.
Calgary is granted the "better team" status..... they DID get their arses handed to them and should be angry.... Flames are home....Minnesota hasn't looked so hot against many of the contending teams lately, could be road weary at the end of this trip, etc, etc.

Well, if I've learned anything about this Minnesota team is that they just don't follow rules, logic or anything else conventional this season.

I say, they flip the script, surprise everyone (and piss off the gamblers who put their rent and mortgage money on the Flames  ), show the kind of heart we've seen from them many times this season, and pull off a close upset, hang on to win 4-3....and won't even need OT!

Interesting fact, found from Russo, team did not practice yesterday and did not have morning skate today. Evason gave some rest to players. Roster will have no changes. It seems that game is going to be the most toughest one among 4 games in Canada. 8 SO for Markstrom  is very impressive stat.

Gaudreau vs Gaudreau tonight. Hope our 3rd line (EEK - Foligno - Bjugstad) and 4th line (Dewar-Sturm-Duhaime) will step up for production and defense too. Without that chances for our win will drop down. We need this win a lot for boosting our mentality.

It seems Evason sees the problem of not having the energy. I'm not sure though, if not practicing helps. I think it's more mental than physical.
