Buffalo Rick Posted May 3, 2022 Share Posted May 3, 2022 Lets start with this. Two guys the Flyers NEVER SHOULD HAVE TRADED. Braden Schenn and Jeff Carter. You cant argue with that. So do the Flyers do a complete overhaul or is that too knee jerk? How much is on the coach? Obviously not all of it. Dont worry, you will have your chance to criticize my Sabres, I am not piling on here. Im just wondering what position you think they must replace first? And how many guys do you trade or release? There will have to be moving as their is in hockey yearly anyway, but after a collapse of this magnitude, you may even have to question if Hart is the answer? I am not blaming him for the mess but is he as good as you first believed? My team needs a goalie more than ever. And historically that is the one position we rarely had to worry about. There are 4 long term contracts that aren't great, one terrible contract with another year on it. The players aren't good enough to trade without providing "sweeteners" . The young players with promise (there are a few) sort of top out as middle six players. The Flyers need to change their approach to the players they pick and have some luck with the draft also. There is no coach, no talk of whom they are targeting. It's like here was a steaming pile of crap, keep looking at it. It's been miserable.
