Remember when toothless Doughty and some of our own fans exclaimed what an overpay $9MM was for KK?  They should have a slice any day now....

Most times, paying a guy 9M for a short stint in the NHL WOULD be foolhardy.
But KK has shown he is one of the exceptions.

His 9M is looking better than Nikita Kucherov's in Tampa Bay right now, I must say..

Agreed.  I just think how bad we would be (and boring) without Kirill.  Would Zucc have just melted into the background?  Would Hartman have ever vaulted off the 4th line?  What about our record last year?  Lucky 5th round lotto pick - didn't the former brass not even bother to call him for a couple years (that genius, Fletcher).  They should be embarrassed even though it took some work to get him out of KHL

Kaprizov is worth every penny and the MN Wild ought to maximize his potential and find him a quality center. The MN Wild and their fans don't need to end up like this again after this season.

Zuccarello and Kaprizov are tied for 3rd in the NHL with 8 points. (each player has 4 goals and 4 assists in 4 played games);

Calen Addison is tied for 3rd in the NHL with six assists (1st amongst rookies).
