Not a fact, but from what I saw, Schenn went off on the official quite a bit, and I think, the officials by then, started getting the feeling they were losing control of the situation and just started out with the stiffer calls to try and reign things in.

Schenn simply picked entirely the wrong time to show his frustrations with the game and the officiating.

probably just being overly cautious managing the game at that point after what already happened.

Franchise-record 14 straight games (11-0-3) with a point for the #mnwild, 2-0-1 and 17 goals without Kaprizov.

Eriksson Ek and Hartman 3 points, 2 apiece for Boldy, Steel, Goligoski and Reaves, 13 skaters with at least a point; team-record tying 8 goals.

 

All 4 lines produced points in such a rare highly scored game for us. Hope, we will get at least a couple points more in games against Boston and Capitals this coming weekend.

We knew we needed secondary scoring and they are showing up. Imagine getting just some of this to continue when Kap gets back.

This is a very very good sign which we were waiting for a long period of time. 17 goals in 3 games without Kaprizov is about 5-6 goals per game. Hope that will continue persistently before Kaprizov gets back. In my opinion, all these games and wins are dedicated to Kaprizov solid recovery after trauma. Really his logo "team first as a team game" means a lot at this moment because most our lines, including line#4 are producing valuable goals now.
