It's inevitable that any team that finished so badly so many times (I mean what, you've got 2 first overall picks, 2 second overall I think, and lost count of how many top 10s and first rounders) will acquire talent for their roster. The incredible thing the Sabres have achieved however, is managing to stay OUT of the playoffs for so long despite having so many top picks.
