radoran Posted March 6, 2013 Share Posted March 6, 2013 Goes to show how dumb some gms get at the trade deadlineKassian's not doing too too badly out in vancouver, and it was unlikely that Hodgson was going to be a #1 C on a team that has Henrik and Daniel Sedin and committed to Kesler.They got a serviceable second line winger with a bit of an edge for a guy they were not likely to be able to develop.Not a terrible deal for either team.I'd have kept Hodgson, but he was in JVR's shoes in Vancouver - a talented top 6 forward who wasn't getting that chance and had the fanbase and organization souring on him because he wasn't producing gangbusters in roles he wasn't suited to. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

By the way good news to all the Flyers fans on here, Ville Leino could make his season debut Sunday in Philly. AKA Sabres season savior.
