Please tell me that some team that needs to come up to the Cap floor will take them off our hands.
AJgoal
Looks like Arizona retained 1.5 million in salary, as well.

pilldoc
ok......so.....where and what line does Sam go to? Can he play LW? or is he true Center?
brelic
Wow. That is an impressive trade. Not only do we get rid of two contracts but we acquire a decent 3rd liner. Hextall is the anti-Holmgren.

AJgoal
I don't think so. Arizona was considering it. Flyers probably won't.
pilldoc
i should have been more clear in my post....do the Flyers retain him or buy him out. If retain..where does he fit? Sorry for making it more confusing.
brelic
Yes apparently they will buy him out. $633k dead cap hit if he's bought out. Hexy is brilliant so far.
AJgoal
Well, that works too. Hextall had said they hadn't decided. They have to waive him first.

Is he not a decent player anymore? My first thought was that they'd keep him.
AJgoal
Hextall asked several times if Flyers intend to keep Gagner. Each time, said team needs to evaluate options - Meltzer. Sorry, posting from phone
TimKerrFan12
Is the Pronger trade really a "legal" trade. Everyone knows what is being done there by Arizona. Hasn't the NHL "investigated" this kind of thing in the past? Then again, they seem to be doing their best to keep Arizona going.
OccamsRazor
Well, that works too. Hextall had said they hadn't decided. They have to waive him first. I think they have until the 30th to buy him out...that is the deadline i think.
