CrazyTex00
With the NHL announcing expansion plans as a native Houstonian I vote for Houston of course, the problem we run into is Houston Rockets owner Leslie Alexander who owns Toyota Center and has said if a team comes he owns 100% of it or they can look elsewhere. Explains why the Aeros left. Also, since the city has shown no interest I took upon myself to get some friends together and make are voices heard. So, I started a petition and maybe it will hope. ruxpin
I don't see this happening in this expansion. I guess it would provide a nice geographic rival for Dallas, but I don't know. Good luck on your petition.
notfondajane
I heard the N.H.L. is expanding to Québec and Las Vegas in 2017?!
JR Ewing
Houston's best chance at an NHL franchise probably came and went with Les Alexander's near-purchase of the Edmonton Oilers.
radoran
Houston didn't submit a bid for the next round of expansion. Doesn't mean a team can't relocate there. There's a line forming of cities who might like a relocated team, but don't have potential owners willing to part with $500M for an expansion franchise. 92WickedHockey
No offence but…just what the NHL needs, another franchise in the sizzling hockey hotbed of Texas.
FD19372
I just can't see Houston supporting an NHL hockey team. Houston will have a problem.
