Dumbo buying himself another year. Typical. Not sure what any coach could do with that Roster

That is such a horribly constructed team. The coaching carousel is ridiculous. GM needs to go.

This team has a couple of aging iconic vets, a few defenseman who can kind of play a goalie 'prospect' in Markstrom who is almost old enough to play in a 30 and older beer league already without establishing himself yet and Horvat. Just an awful team with nothing to offer in trade especially with the sisters saying they will not allow Benning to consider moving them. They actually played surprisingly well considering how mismatched the talent is and Desjardins, in my opinion did a hell of a job keeping them from battling Colorado for worst record in Hockey. Desjardins will land on his feet. I cannot see anyone who wants a future in this game taking this position.

Exactly.

A promotion to VP of Operations sounds about right for Benning.

I mean, that's what every team seems to do with failed GM's right? Give them a promotion where they can no longer do any damage and hire a real GM?
