Lol, Here I am again seeing the stats for Dubnyk and Hellebuyck. Dubs has a better GAA and the rest is equal.

3 win difference and granted Dubs has played 6 more games. you could take most of the Back to backs lately and those games could make Stalock's record closer to Brossoit's.

Point is, Both goalies (D and H) are far from last years performance but we're looking at a 1st place team vs a team outside the playoffs.

Hmmm, I don't think it's a goalie issue for us. I know many here don't like Dubnyk and I'm not defending him or as much of a fan either but the blame and focus needs to be on the rest of the team and not so much on goal tending.

I think I'd like to see AZ get past Colorado just for the freshness and to see how Kuemper does.

The real interest in who Tampa Bay will face and who just might knock them out since they are the overwhelming favorite.

It's just ripe for it to happen. ;)

Interesting, that the next last 2 games of the regular season Jets are going to play against Colorado and Arizona. Both those teams are candidates for the last wild card of the playoffs spot. Who is going to be the most lucky one - Colorado or Arizona team in that  unpredictable lottery?🤔 It seems both teams are merit to get that lucky 8 number in Western Conference.

Hope to see Nico Sturm in a Wild uniform tonight. Just looked for his stats. According to them, it seems he has some promise.

How about we NOT have LaPanties and Walz call the game and just let Krissy Wendell do the honors?

I mean technically he's not wrong, even though we all know it's not going to happen.

Not many online tonight?  Signs of things to come if Fenton doesn’t fix the roster. Go young!

We are the most Jekyll/Hyde team I have ever seen.  Too little too late, however.

Im tired of the home record talk, they have sucked all year. Doesnt really matter why at this point. Its really to bad since the west is very winnable. The top teams are nowhere near what chicago was a few years ago.

I have been watching a lot of eastern conference games lately and it doesn't look good for the western conference

Suter throws the puck to Spurgeon in his own end from 4 feet with a guy on him (and full ice to skate forward or make a different decision).  Jets get puck, but turn it over.  No harm.   However, this is a microcosm of the decline of Suter.  His decisions on both ends of the rink have fallen as fast as his skill level (unfortunately, his arrogance hasn’t).  Spurgeon bails him out constantly on these ‘hillbilly dumb’ decisions.

Old lady Suter - pick a guy to defend on a 2:1, don’t just stand there and melt the ice swinging your purse.

Falloff in production from key players. >>> With an unexpected 40+ goal scorer (Staal) and a red-hot Zucker plus a good contribution from Nino and Granlund, the Wild just made it to the postseason last year. As it was obvious that their numbers would decrease, it was sufficient to anchor this team to the bottom 16. Moreover, Koivu played koivuer... Sustained, Your Honor.    Average goaltending >>> Average, and I would add inconsistent and hot helped by a dec

Honestly, I find this win upsetting. All season they had the ability to control their destiny by just trying and putting in the effort. Majority of the time they didn't. Finally once the control is taken out of their hands they go out and put in a full effort, nice looking game. It's all for nothing. Frustrating.   I hate this season. Feels like a season of a team trying for maybe 25% of the time. This year is so open for anybody in the West to go to the cup. It was the perfect time fo

Curious how many softies Doobie let in - and then if they lost that game ultimately pulling him and losing by 2 or 1...  Bet that would be an interesting number...  Not to blame just the goalie - but watched a couple of games this year - you know the kinds of goals I'm talking about...   If this year was anything like most of the others over the past decade - I'd say they have a "hunger" issue - and I think it stems from many of the things already mentioned - but just don't seem hungry

Without the ridiculous ice-time, and cherry picked second assists, he would have miserable statistics.  He is -6, and would be about -20 without Spurgeon, and all the cheap + shifts that are due to the skills of others, not his own.....
