So NOW it begins for the Wild....

Enough of what likely will be bottom feeding California teams, they now face the 'better' half of their division in Colorado (lots of Colorado in fact), Arizona, and St. Louis.

We will now see what we really have with this group of players.

Good luck to Minnesota starting today....perhaps they can take advantage of one area the Avs may be a bit weak in: goaltending.

Yup. We'll know what we have after these games against the Avs. We won't have much hope if the will to win we saw last game is not there. Please stay out of the box, though. They have a filthy power play, and their PK is better than ours. To make matters more difficult there's a contradiction in playing with will, and not taking any penalties. When you're fired up, there's always going to be plays that bend or break the rule book.

If they have some fire in them tonight, we'll see a very good match. Give us fire, but no grievous bodily harm today, please:

We should stay away from the penalty box, because Colorado team is too good  in PP. In general, during the 1st period we did not generate a lot of scoring chances and sometimes I was thinking that Avalanche is playing in PP mode. All lines should be better during the next 2 periods. I think, we are capable to show some good hockey.
