  1. I always thought of a jouneyman as one who has the experienced but never got his due as a master.
  2. Wednesday is the next tome I play.
  3. The gold is definitely not like " golden helmet" gold, though I would LOVE that colour. Take not that the Cascade/Bauer stuff runs a bit bigger; i.e. if you take a large in a foam-lined helmet and you are on the small side of Bauer's large, get a medium. I used a helmet sizing pad to get this helmet tighter. The Boulder gold cage goes well with Cascade/Bauer "Old Gold", doesn't it?!?
  4. @yave1964 Go for it!!!! Since you're a moderator, you can get away with it!!!!
  5. @flyercanuck Seriously, almost every forum has had one. Each is somewhat unique, but all are basically the same.
  6. Every forum has had a person of that description at one point.
  7. My new lid should be in my furry paws on Monday!!!
  8. @Bertmega Funny story!!! She is my goof!!! She gets like that after a session of kill the doo rag.
  9. @goalnut3133 I've never seen a Blues forum. That being said, I am on several forums (two drum and two hockey) and have little time for much more. But if it's full of internet bad asses or a troll-fest, I have no time for it.
  10. @goalnut3133 The Rabbits logo is $88!!! Crikey- that is EXPENSIVE!!!!
  11. She needs one. The employees at the pro shoppe at the St. Louis Mills (where the Blues practise) looked at me like I had three heads when I asked. Trix needs a sweater!!!!
  12. @ruxpin That's one word. Been there, done that, am now great as a result.
  13. People so far love the "rabbits" home sweater!!!!
  14. @flyercanuck That would be for when Elmer Fudd is the colour commentary announcer.
  15. Wacey would have proudly worn the Raging Rabbits of Rapid City Sweater, for certain!!!
  16. Home jersey, Rapid City Raging Rabbits circa 1992:
  17. Stu now recalls the nickname and location of his Junior B team: "I played for the Frostbite Falls Snowflakes. I was a high-scoring left winger on the enforcer line." We are on the search for one of Stu's old Snowflakes sweaters...
  18. @AlaskaFlyerFan And i don't disagree with your assessment; if anything, it validates what i have to say. There are few left handed people in relationship to righties (I forgot the figure, but it is low) and even fewer lefties who have no adapted to using right-handed equipment. In many cases, it is not as easy as flipping the mould- considerable re-tooling has to happen to make something left-handed. Note that the last four Presidents of the U.S. are left-handed... The weirdest thing is that there are just as many lefty sticks as there are righty sticks. Not quite the same as golf clubs, for certain!!! I play drums leading with the left hand, am capable of writing with my left hand (though I smudge the page; though I can write in Hebrew with my left hand better because it reads right to left). I play guitar right handed because I have better dexterity with my fretting hand. I am ambidextrous favouring my right hand slightly (and mainly where it matters as far as stuff goes). Had I played goalie, I would have ended up with both regular and full-right set ups. Why? To screw with opponents.
