    I see the flyers getting a center in the draft and trading coots or Schenn for weber/yandle. I believe you would see a dman packaged along with a center for one of them. But in reality I would much rather hold onto everyone and select the best player available and go from there.

    As I recall it was Neil who tried taking out two flyer players within two shifts. One gm suspension for that was not enough. Seems the pens have many players who play dirty and aim for the head.

    Not an issue. Philly is a very desirable team to every free agent. However players last year wanted to go to a certain team. Can't help that. Weber signed a contract that nobody including weber himself thought would be matched.

    He is a very dirty player. He really hits late a lot. And goes high on a player a lot as well.

    Well all non playoff teams go into the lottery and a chance to move up big. I really think we can still land a solid stud on the blue line at 12-14. There are six I would love but there are just so many really really good forward prospects in this draft.

    Ok. They didn't tank but just plain old sucked for years with no attendance and was going to have to relocate. Can't remember the last time the flyers were in that position.

    The flyers try winning ever year. Rarely do they get lottery picks. The pens tanked for a few years and gathered their lottery picks. However , they are out of time now with the current roster. Letang and malkin are ufa after next season. With cap going down and expiring contracts after this year they need to trade away pieces or let them walk.

    Would you trade Seth jones? That's what your actually doing. I wouldn't. However if we can't get jones and we pick second I would be hard pressed not to take a top tier forward . Maybe get a center and trade coots or schenn for a young promising dman or a mid 1st rounder and maybe grab pulock or something around those lines.

    The pens must win now or next year. As it stands now they will need to move a large salary soon. Malkin and letang are ufa after next season.
