To Ristolangelo: to spend assets to relieve yourself of an asset to then acquire a new asset and then spend assets to replace the qualities of the asset you paid to get rid of in the first place. Meanwhile, overpay to extend the asset you acquired and be in a position where your organization* might buy out the other asset you paid to acquire while a playoff team paid to acquire the original asset you paid to get rid of. If this team signs anybody to an eight year deal this off season, they're nuts. If they let someone with an "interim" title do it, doubly so. Frost is the poster child for "prove it bridge deal."

I just don't think he's Torts' sort of player. And after six years of being told Claude Giroux was a superstar to build around they're now saying this is a rebuilding situation. Would not at all surprise me if he wants out.
