Sabres Playoff drought reaches 12 years. At least this year they made it until game 80 before being eliminated instead of being eliminated by November each year. I tease because I am envious of where the Sabres are as a franchise vs my beloved Flyers. Congrats to HJ on a good season for his team.

The telling point to me regarding TDA is that he has been scratched 3 straight games but Tortorella hasn’t spoken to him about it? A head coach not communicating with a player and tell them why they aren’t in the lineup? I guess they are tired of telling TDA his effort and performance has sucked.

Has Tortorella made any comments regarding JVR’s attitude and work ethic this season? If so, I don’t recall. I have read reports that he’s one of those “good locker room guys”. If JVR were to go to Briere and ask for a 1 yr/$1 million deal to be a 4th liner, PP2 guy and mentor to all these kids, should the flyers consider it? Cue the outrage in 3,2,1……
