So a few years back, there was an NFL quarterback named Bret Favre (pronounced FARVE), who played for the Green Bay Packers (maybe some of you heard of him). Allegedly he was some kind of big deal, or at least a pretty good player. For whatever reason the fans loved him. Anyway, the guy was getting old and the team brought in a new coach and GM. They then drafted another QB named Aaron something-or other. Well Arron, let's call him Rogers, was stuck on the bench behind this Favre character and couldn't play until a move was made. As it turned out, Favre was waivering on his first of many retirements, and the team turned to Rogers, essentially forcing the franchise player out the door for good. That's the last we ever heard of Favre ,<cough-cough> Why would they do this? Well, this Aaron cat had only so many years before he would be a free agent and if he walked, without ever playing for the Packers, the GM, and likely the coach, would have gotten canned over it. So in an effort to solidify their decision and show they were competant, they made the move and lived happily ever after without a shred of media coverage over it. Okay, so what does this have to do with Bryzgalov or the Flyers? I don't know. I am slightly brain damaged and having a raging case of ADHD, so i got off on a tangent. And I miss football.
