I can appreciate your anxiety, and I share it. I keep expecting Giroux to wake up, but I think that chapter is closed. Unfortunately, the Flyers hold G in high regard as a "career" guy. His legacy will be propped up by the Flyer numbers he e puts up, and his failures will not be emphasized. There are still a $hit ton of fans who don't share the intricate details of a forum like ours, and their image of Giroux is very high. I think bringing in Hayes, Nisky and Pitlick were good moves. The team was on fire and made the playoffs. It was widely reported they tried to make moves to fill the hole left when Nisky retired, but they couldn't get it done. Remember, it takes two side to pull off a deal, and contrary to what Flyer fans want to believe, other teams don't value our players as highly as we do. So, we got Gus and that sucked.
