Has Fiala finally broken his slump. 1+1 so far

He's been a bit snake bit.  However, he does take some VERY low percentage shots and also ignores wide open players much more than Zucc, Kap, and Hartman do.  This eliminates a lot more assist opportunities, and defensive players play him tighter because they know he will generally shoot (e.g. take ANY shot).

One huge difference in this year's Minnesota Wild team vs the ones of the recent past:
They don't seem to care a whole lot about who they play with regards to their gameplan.

Obviously, they and the coaching staff have to know their opponent....the Champion Lightning are much different than a grinding Arizona team for instance....but they really don't let that dictate how they play their game and how they roll their lines.

I seem to recall in years past, the Wild would seemingly scramble to "adjust" to whomever they played.
That lead to great games against great teams, and klunkers in 'let down' games vs teams they should've beaten.

That's a thing of the past now from the looks of it.
Sure, they know their opponent, but at the same time, they play their game and make the other team adjust to THEM.
Very refreshing to see.

Of course, this all works because everyone, from the top line and top pair guys down to the 4th line and 3rd pair guys are buying into what Dean Everson is selling.
