The Canes are overwhelming favorites (-345) and 10-1 over the last 11, and on a seven game winning streak:

While they don't score a lot, they are stingy on defense.  Their starting goalie (Kochetkov) has a 1.97 GAA:

I thought Hart would get another start but it looks like Sam Ersson makes his NHL debut.

In person observations:

 

Risto and Seeler blow more than I thought. 

 

Every goalie since Hextall has sucked at playing the puck. Ersson played it to a Cane twice already. 
 

I feel bad for Sam having to play behind these guys.

My condolences. Good for you though wearing the colors!! You're a brave man.

 

What a sad debut for Ersson. First shot he faces = in the net... then 4 more before Tortorella mercy pulls him. Still half a game to play. Aye carumba. I figured a rough night for the Flyers, hoping Ersson could keep it close instead he's as bad as the rest of them.

Oh lord it just keeps getting worse. Ristolainen shoves a 'Canes player into Hart and why? What the hell was he hoping to accomplish? Just incredible. Chalk up another one for Fletcher that dope should've never been on the ice for the Flyers. Never.

The good news is, if Hart is out for any length of time it will really showcase how truly awful the team is (I mean really showcase, like even more than they already have) and they should freefall in the standings (I mean really freefall, like even more than they already have) for a better shot at Bedard.

 

The bad news is Fletcher will trade our 1st for Carey Price so he can continue his "aggressive rebuild" and "go for it".
