Hockey decision, not injury. Coach Evason: “We had a real good meeting. He knows why he’s sitting out tonight.”

If you are thinking about trading a guy, you put him on the ice so other teams can scout. Unless a deal is close, the trading partner might not want him playing, especially if that team is Carolina....
