Wild laid an egg tonight.
We all knew these kinds of games are gonna happen this year.

On the bright side, maybe a game like this will serve notice to Dean Evason: Marc Andre Fleury should NOT be playing in back to back games.

I think MAF offers value as a goalie the opponents see less of now, but Gustavsson HAS to be the number one and Fleury should only be playing when the schedule calls for back to back night Wild games, or if Gus is being overworked at some point.

Didn't get to watch the game in its entirety, but in looking at the condensed versions, it appears the Kings took advantage of an aged goalie in Fleury they knew VERY WELL from his days with the Knights.

Let's get back on the Gus Bus, Dean...

Disappointed loss, disappointed score last night. Talbot was better than Fleury. And Kings were better than Wild as well. Evason shouldn't be afraid to replace goalies during the game. Fleury should be replaced after the 1st period, in my opinion. We have 2 games already with a high scored loss (4:7; 3:7), which is reminding me last season start. Hope next game we will be able to win. Every point is valuable.

Well said Alexandron, we shouldn't forget that LA is a much improved team that should definitley make the playoffs. The Wild also lost every race to a loose puck. Sammy Walker didn't fit with EEK and Johanson, but you can't expect much from his first game.

On a brighter note Mermis looked reliable and the 4th line is really playing well.

The Wild also owned the faceoff dot. Their worst faceoff percentage was 50%.

The officials owe the Wild an apology on the 5th goal, on the faceoff drop Hartman wasn't even down and set for the drop.
