hf101 Posted June 15, 2013 Share Posted June 15, 2013 Apparently Vigneault turned down the coaching job in Dallas after the Stars made him an offer. Puck Daddy states that the Rangers haven't made a formal offer to him yet, but will by Monday. Messier and Stevens also were interviewed. I think Vigneault is the obvious and best choice for the next coach of the Rangers. So then that leaves the Stars losing out on Eakins who will coach the Oilers and Vigneault.
