yave1964
Top 15 free agents still out there, quite a few of these guys could still help the right teamKyle Wellwood 3rd liner very underratedMason Raymond Injury prone and too small but not horribleVinnie Prospal 146 years od but can still scorePeter Mueller Been getting by on potential for a long timeBrendan Morrow the old gray mare she aint what she used to beMikhail Grabovski Shouldn't have cursed out the coach on the way out of townBrad Boyes Had solid year in contract year. Nobody trusts him anywayDamien Brunner the wildcard in the mix. New Jersey rumored to be his destinationRyan Whitney if you are looking for 3 goals and a double digit minus in your plus/minus HERE HE IS!Douglas Murray stay at home swede think Anders Lilja with talentToni Lydman When he got hurt the ducks fell apart in the post season. Solid.Filip Kuba Think Ryan Whitney liteRon Hainsey Everyone keeps talking him up which says how bad the remaining d-men areBryz Ahem.Tim Thomas Blue states need not apply That's about it boys and girls, some of these guys can still play in the right role and 12 will be in the NHL by September, three will be picking up a copy of 'How to learn basic Russian in three easy lessons' to listen to on their out of country flight....Dishonorable mention Tim Connolly lead Toronto deep in to the playoffs, the Marlies I mean, Hal 'thesix foot seven human pylon' Gill, Johan "I am 40 and still looking for a starting role to get my big chance" Hedberg and Steve 'Ole' Montador. jammer2
@yave1964 The amazing part for me is, a team with no offensive depth can literally purchase a line of Brunner, Boyes and Grabo for 4-6 million right now. Not stars, but at least 2 of the 3 have produced over time in the NHL. I don't think any of the players left will command more than 2 mill, so some great bargains to be had out there. J0e Th0rnton
Ahhh Doug Murray. I have to say I loved the guy. he could throw monsterous hits and nobody ever wanted to fight him because he killed anyone. Even heavyweights. The guy is a physical tank. He murders people in front of the net and in the corners.Unfortunately, that tank has some terrible speed and maneuverability. Pk Specialist, or bottom 6/

At ES, Murray's Skating is league worst and guys use him for Pylon practice. He is a recipe for swedish meatballs and pain meds in front of the net and in the corners though. But they definitely do need a net clearing presence.
