Crosby now labeled with lower body injury.

Penguins release:

Penguins forward Sidney Crosby will miss the 2015 NHL All-Star Game due to a lower-body injury, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

Crosby has been playing with the injury and will need about a week to heal.

As a result of missing the All-Star Game, Crosby will not be permitted to play in Pittsburgh’s game on Tuesday, January 27 versus Winnipeg.

Release on Malkin:

Evgeni Malkin will miss the NHL All-Star Game due to a lower-body injury. There is no timetable for his return.

Malkin left briefly in the second period of Tuesday's game against Philadelphia to meet with trainers. He was able to return to action and finished the rest of the game. However, Malkin was unable to play on Wednesday vs. Chicago after he tested his injury during warmups and it was determined that he would not be able to go.

Sounds like they both have been dealing with injuries for a few weeks now.  Rest up.

The ASB could not have come at a better time.  Heck, maybe they can make up an injury for Fleury.

Not sure - did someone mistake them for an Ottawa police officer?

Maybe Crosby punched Malkin in the "electrodes" and he elbowed Crosby in the melon?

Impending post (season) traumatic stress?
