Brynas won 3-1 in game 7 to advance to the final. Lindblom had 2 g 1 a and Sandstrom 37 saves...he stopped 69 of 70  shots in games 6 and 7.

Hextall knows what he's doing in the draft dept.

The Flyers will soon have the Odd Couple, Felix and Oscar. :hehe:

So Carter Hart is in Lehigh Valley to back up Alex Lyon. Very interesting. Wouldn't it be something if he got a few games in.

I doubt he plays unless Lyon gets lit up.

Regardless it will be a nice experience for him because after next year in juniors he will be a Phantom so he will know what to expect sort of.

Because i can see him and Sandstrom in LV after next year. That will be a tandem for the ages!!!!

The Canes are quietly building a nice club as well if anyone hasn't noticed.

Charlotte Checkers shutout Craig Berube's Chicago Wolves 4-0 to start the AHL playoffs.

They have some talent down there too Haydn Fleury, Roland Mckeown and Philip Samuelsson on the blueline.

And Valentin Zykov, Lucas Wallmark and Aleksi Saarela leading at forward.

A couple of interesting comments by Bill Meltzer

Quote

Listed at 6-foot, 183 pounds heading into the 2015-16 season, he had a growth spurt and is now 6-foot-3 and 214 pounds. Bunnaman used the added size to his advantage this season, honing his presence around the net to go from 16 goals the previous season to 37 goals in 2016-17.

Bunnaman in hard to take off the puck and is willing to battle in the trenches despite compiling just 30 penalty minutes in the regular season. His skating is still a work in progress but showed improvement this past season. Likewise, his play away from the puck and non-shooting puck skills are trending in the right direction. If the 2016 NHL Draft were reheld now, he would likely have been a second-round pick according to a non-Flyers scout.
