6 weeks will have him ready for the start of the Playoffs. It could be worse.  Rutherford added some defensive help in Hainsey in the meantime.  I think the Pens will be ok.

Let's hope so!  I like to see the  Pens win one for Hainsey (like they did with Phil!)

Most games played without a post season appearance among active NHL players. Never played in an outdoor game (he was a healthy scratch the year he was on the Habs and they played in one).

 

Now he's on the Pens and his first game is the Stadium Series match-up with the Flyers.

 

Not bad. Not bad at all.
