IllaZilla
Gee, we may see if Boudreau changes up the OT like he promised...
EmptyShelf
If any of 9, 11, and 20 are out there in the first two shifts, we will know that BB has learned nothing. We have to have great skaters with 'pond skills' out there.
lynxrattle
Our OT is potentially such a letdown to an otherwise entertaining game.

lynxrattle
Well played against a better team, I think. Dubnyk was absolutely horrible. With decent goal tending we might have even won this one.
ClusterChuck
Well, It turned out to be a decent game after that 4 on 4 until our inability to learn how to 3 on 3.
Hockey-78
I've been saying for 4 straight years now Dubnyk is no #1 goalie... and slowly but surely no one is believing me!

Yeah, you can't say they really went for the attack when having the puck. Outside that one time Dumba crashing the net. What else is new... CreaseAndAssist
Overtimes Woes Continue as Wild Fall 4-3 to Carolina Overall, I liked the effort the Wild gave today. Dubnyk just isn't good enough. I didn't have a problem with who Minnesota used in overtime, but one shot by Carolina and its in the back of the net. That happened too often for this team to be able to get a victory today, plain and simple. I have a full recap and a ton of prospect news too. Enjoy and discuss...
lynxrattle
What would it be to see lights out goal tending from the Wild... will Kahkonen or Robson one day show something I've not seen from the Wild in 10 years...

We made Reimer looked better than he really is. Dubnyk should stop Svechnikov's shot in OT, but was not able. Why did we put him in the net again? Hope, some day we will see Kahkonen and Robson play for the big club. Both goalies will have tonight and tomorrow games against a Chicago team, which is not an easy one. Wish for a better Iowa Wild team's outcome than we have seen for the Wild team in St.Paul today.

Alexandron
I did not checked for a long period our standings in a league. I knew that we are not too good, but did not realized our real overall standing position in NHL. Just checked. Believe it or not we are currently on a 30th place out of 31 NHL teams. Is that our the worse achievement in the Wild history? I do not remember that before. Even with a current core, I am sure, the team is capable to put 4-5 goals per game. Still it seems also, the goalies are not helping us enough. And, also we should start placing 2-3 goals first, but not running like a dogs after losing 2-3 goals at the beginning of the game or during a short period of time. We have seen that this season a lot. In general, we should start winning games more than we are losing. These players evidently are improving - Zucker; Staal; Zuccarello; Fiala; Kunin; Ek; Dumba; Hunt; Hartman and even Parise. Still want to see more out of Greenway; Donato and Spurgeon.
