MNSOTA wrote up the game preview, I'll be on the post-gamer.  Top two scorers in the league come to St. Paul, while the injury-riddled Wild will try to recover from two ugly stumbles the last two games.  Stay out of the penalty box if they want to win...enjoy and discuss.

That write -up was insane ;) Good Job MNSOTA

I'm actually going to be IN the building tonight instead of selling out in Rice Park. As a Christmas gift, the boss gave me a seat in row 4 and said to have fun.

As is my custom - (to honour the opponent) - I'll be sporting my 1984 Campbell Conference #11 MESSIER sweater.

Should be a good time. I've never seen McDavid live and in person (Draisaitl either for that matter).

Another unknown: how are they going to play with no Staal, Koivu or Spurgeon. Unfortunately I won't have time to watch this one 🤨

Russo reported Staal was skating with the team this morning, so Staal may play tonight.

We all saw how they "played" with no Koivu or Spurgeon...🤮

I'll throw a Wild guess - the Wild wild be outshot and outplayed like in the previous games. The question is, can they handle the pressure and freeze MacnDrai? And most importantly, whoever starts in the net, has to be stellar. Okay so McLellan thinks KK is going to get the start.

Seems like BB is in his right mind and sniffs a chance to change the team's course with the rookie goalie. The attempt is right, hopefully though KK doesn't go binningtons and do it. The Wild could use some new blood at center, via draft.

"I’m truly sick and tired of these so-called analytics experts, who spin a tale of how great a player is based on their Corsi or Fenwick numbers based on possession"

THANK YOU !!

Great write up, MNSOTA.

I watched the game from another location and the TV was close enough.

Infuriating OT as we get the PP and all we do is pass the perimeter for 1 set play.

Essentially a 3 on 3 since the one by the net was not moving at all making the D defend easier.

Add in another with no stick. 🤨

I sense tonight will be the same. With all the injuries we're back to the 'Boudreau Shuffle'.

Not his fault this time but we saw how they played when the lines stayed together.

What a strange attempt at a save by Smith. Soft goal, but the Wild already had a grade-a chance seconds earlier that could easily have gone in.

Almost like Smith thought he was going to get a goaltender interference call and stopped playing...

When he's not tracking well, that's what he does: he sort of lunges at the puck like he did. The Oilers have a .500 Win% in his starts, and .688 in Koskinen's, so......

Blech.
