Because he played in 64 out of 82 games and no NHL games were lost to covid or lockout. The league played a full schedule that season. To that end, the 6'4 205 pound Laine drops the gloves against the 5'11 175 pound Brandon Hagel of the Chicago Blackhawks. Unfortunately, that didn't end too well for Patrik.
