lynxrattle
Interesting pre-gamer. Makes me think of all the times I see blame on someone and leave others out of the equation. It's always nice to a have whipping boy and leave others in peace. Not very objective or useful, of course. Anyhow, let's hope for a more purposeful and energetic team for this one. Johansson and Fiala have been better lately, perhaps they'll be able to show some example in this one.

ClusterChuck
Great points made about Rask in the GDT. And an overall great read again. Coaches, Player interviews, Walz all say "Keep it simple"... So does that mean stick to the White board set plays at every chance? With the added bonus of every rush must include 3-4 passes and at least 1 of those a forced long cross ice path before any shot attempts are allowed. Seems pretty simple to me. And predictable. No reason with our younger-faster firepower that we can't consistently top 30 -35 SOG's per game.

According to internet most news regarding his return kind of old and dated on March 14-16. Here is one interesting link: https://thehockeywriters.com/wild-fans-returning-foligno-injury/
Alexandron
Just finished listening on radio a game of Iowa Wild team against Texas Stars. We were able to win that tough game with a score 2:1. Belpedio put his 1st goal and Mayhew his 5th goal this season. Jones was in the net for Iowa team and stopped 35 shots out of 36. ClusterChuck
Really dangerous slow blue line passes on that PP. Don't really care for Bally's ticker at the bottom. TMI...I don't care what the NBA is doing.
Alexandron
So far I like the game, because I do see good speeds and energy from both teams.
ClusterChuck
Clean up the passing and more dangerous shots would make me happier. But a decent period. Stop blaming the ice...They've had days of practise and a game to get used to it. Adjust.
lynxrattle
If the ice is as bad as they say they should shoot more. Deflections rebounds screens. It almost seems futile to keep saying this. They never will.

Interesting, both goalies were able to stop 10 shots each during the 1st period.
ClusterChuck
What's the over/under for how many times Walz will mention the ice surface?
ClusterChuck
I usually don't say losing 1 player has that big of an effect but the Wild are a totally different team without Foligno and his old line together.

I press the button away game and most of the time listening opposite commentators because they never mention about the bad ice surface.
