Interesting pre-gamer. Makes me think of all the times I see blame on someone and leave others out of the equation. It's always nice to a have whipping boy and leave others in peace. Not very objective or useful, of course.

Anyhow, let's hope for a more purposeful and energetic team for this one. Johansson and Fiala have been better lately, perhaps they'll be able to show some example in this one.

Great points made about Rask in the GDT. 👍
And an overall great read again.

Coaches, Player interviews, Walz all say "Keep it simple"... So does that mean stick to the White board set plays at every chance?
With the added bonus of every rush must include 3-4 passes and at least 1 of those a forced long cross ice path before any shot attempts are allowed.
Seems pretty simple to me. 🤨 And predictable.
No reason with our younger-faster firepower that we can't consistently top 30 -35 SOG's per game.

Just finished listening on radio a game of Iowa Wild team against Texas Stars. We were able to win that tough game with a score 2:1. Belpedio put his 1st goal and Mayhew his 5th goal this season. Jones was in the net for Iowa team and stopped 35 shots out of 36.

Clean up the passing and more dangerous shots would make me happier. But a decent period.
Stop blaming the ice...They've had days of practise and a game to get used to it.
Adjust.

I would be happier too.  To see a dangerous shots from the Wild team is our permanent dream. :cool[1]:

Interesting, both goalies were able to stop 10 shots each during the 1st period.

What's the over/under for how many times Walz will mention the ice surface? 😆

I do not listen him. I press the button away game and most of the time listening opposite commentators because they never mention about the bad ice surface.😆
