seriously do you want to me to say this team will win a cup? why not just start the parade already if you want me to say that, why is it wrong to be realistic about what this team is, they are beating bad teams here, why is that so hard to understand? are you that desperate to just go into the playoffs and get knocked out again like they always do?

im not on this bandwagon until they win a cup, im tired of heartbreaks, excuses, suck ups, this season or any season doesnt mean crap to me until they win a cup i could care less, how many wins this pathetic team wins, it's not going to change my mind because i had hopes but they are always crushed. if anyone doesnt understand my frustration, then dont. i am a fan of this team but im not getting my hopes up because this is the type of team that always breaks your heart. its been 40 years that's why i have no hope.

yes i watched since i was 15, i dont care about the stats, yeah they sucked on 5-5, but they sucked more on the pp throughout last season, the only reason the stats went up was because they were playing better after the mason trade and the injuries and this year it's the same stuff. im going by every game, not by season stat total, 1-10 on pp against buffalo, is that acceptable for you, especially against a really bad team? are you really not concerned about pp?

the problem with this team this year and last year was special teams, they have to start scoring on the pp and play better on the penalty kill, especially against buffalo 1-10 unacceptable, you have to start scoring on pp otherwise this team will not make through the first round of the playoffs.

that's how LA and chicago is doing it, with the flyers, the first line is still struggling, they need a good winger for that line, i think the defense still needs improving, they need a pronger type to get this team over the hump. i like to see them play a really good team to see how far this team really is. in my opinion, they need more help.

if schenn can get us an impact player on offense or defense, then do it, but trading schenn for another unproven player is not going to make this team better, that's the problem with homer he thinks trading players just for sake of trading is not going to help this team, this team needs an impact player, plain and simple.

i think we should talk about playoffs if they actually make it in april, because there's alot of games left and alot of good teams they have to play, i mean yes they are playing well but it's still early and i want to see them play the really good teams like redwings, blackhawks, avs before we can say playoffs. you cant just overlook the rest the teams and say yes they will win it all or the make the playoffs because this is the type of roster that will show inconsistency.

it's been 40 years since the flyers won a cup, that's the reason why i dont believe this team will win a cup and the fact the roster is made of the same players that are so inconsistent even before lavy came here i dont care how well they play now because they play great games then play like crap the next, i just want a clean slate, gm fired, players contracts removed, players that actually want to win.

well, do you want me to say this team will win a Stanley cup and let's just overlook all the teams like they are garbage? im sorry i dont buy this at all because i have seen them go through 10 game winning streaks then 10 game losing streaks. i just want a clean slate im sick of excuses of losing for the 40th year, that's my frustration.

i mean yes the defense is playing better, the same mistakes are happening, there's no jump in this team for 60 minutes, it's one period and they stop playing, what i want to see this team play for 60 minutes, yes they get lucky goals but that's not good enough, i want to see this team put more effort in the offensive zone, goals or no goals. the way the jets were playing, they were playing like they putting the effort out.

right what i meant was getting a player and getting rid of a player that's not part of the core.

as much as lav deserved to be blamed for this but homer should take some responsibility for this as well, i mean after the injuries and young players came in to play before the season ended, they played really well, it seemed like they had good chemistry but in the offseason homer refused to get rid of the players they were causing chemistry problems when the season started, the whole team looked lost and im still not sold on this team until some of these players are moved. not keeping jagr was a major mistake, he had good chemistry with giroux and hartnell, that's why giroux is not the player he once was even last season, im not saying get rid of him, im saying give him a top line winger, he'll gain confidence and have good chemistry. it's the reason why this team is so bad because homer keeps destroying the chemistry by getting rid of players instead of adding a player to make this team stronger. after 2010, homer should have kept the team together and added a defensemen in fa instead of getting rid of gagne for mez because if gagne was still there in 2011, i think they would had a better chance of contending and maybe beating boston again.

if he's a good puck mover, i'll take him, the flyers are still lacking in that department despite the wins, timms is done, i would actually trade coburn for him. i would get rid of schenn for another puck mover, if he doesnt pick up the slack.

to simply put your team is missing a piece as much as flyers are, they need puck movers. it was evident in the CF series against the bruins, you have good offense, but lacking puck skills in your d as much as the flyers are.

the fact is this d doesnt have many good puck movers, they only ones that are good at it are gus and streit, timms was good at it and he's all washed up, if homer is still the gm, he has to get another puck mover.

this is what drives me crazy with this team and the reason i want changes now because it's the same bs, they play good then they play like crap, it's been like this for years, this is why i get so frustrated with this team, until they put a ten game winning steak and keep it that way then maybe i'll be on board with team, this team is just frustrating to watch.

even some of the media were saying some of the players werent on board with berube, if that's not telling us something, i dont know what is, like i said the coaching staff needs a complete change, look the patrick roy he's a rookie and the avs are playing like chicago blackhawks. alot of that has to do with the fact he was a successful player plus he was doing alot of coaching when he retired and won a memorial cup in 2007. berube is nothing like him, if the flyers have a patrick roy for a coach i think this team would be alot better

i wish ed would just stick up for his team and tell them to avoid the media, if it's creating problems for the players and team, why doesnt he do something about it or the coach?

there's no positive influence on this team, letting jagr go was dumb, he was a winner i dont care about his injuries. they have a coach that has no winning experience unlike roy he did, he won stanley cups as goalie and he was coaching for a long time before he came to the avs, they like him because he was successful, just like stevens with the flyers. like i said this team needs culture change, they need winners, coaching and players, it builds a winning atmosphere. it's what of bad teams dont do, they dont get winning coaches or players that has success.

the main problem with this team is overpaid contracts, not getting a coach from a winning team, not drafting the best players and always trading them.

it's the same thing over and over again with this organization, there's no winning coach on this team, you draft players and get rid of them, giving out large contracts to players that worry more about their paychecks. that's not a winning culture, a winning culture is to bring players that want to win rather worry about paycheck, there are so many overpaid contracts on this team.

because it's one thing to have effort and lose and another have no effort,lose and quit. im tired of quitters,excuses on this team, dont want to play for this team your a## is out the door. i have to say it they are bunch of losers, i dont care if the whole team gets traded, i want players that want to play and compete, not a bunch of losers

this team needs players from winning cultures, lets look at these players. mark streit- yes his team made the playoffs once but isnt exactly winning culture type of player, the islanders were bad for years until last year. vinny- came from bad lightning team that only had won the cup once in 2004 and past his prime, that was a bad move. mez- he was a bad player to begin with, he was bad with ottawa and tampa none of them made the playoffs, trading gagne for him another bad move jake- came from a bad bluejackets team, hasnt shown anything, this was probably a bad trade for us. simmounds-only made the playoffs twice, once with kings, once with flyers, he hasnt done anything either, plus trading richards for him was another bad move. my point is homer is just overpaying the best player in fa, that's not how you build this team, you build this team on drafting the best players in the draft and signing fas that are from winning cultures that fit your system.

im beginning to think if the giroux is the problem? since he's the one not even trying to score goals.

im so tired of the excuses of shipping players, what's so hard about shooting pucks? it's one thing if they are trying but they are playing like they just want to lose and not make the effort it's inexcusable. if it's gets blocked, then try and try again eventually it will go in. that's the type of effort i want to see.
