granted, he's been beaten at times this year, but i don't think that those plays affected him that much (thankfully). he always seems to snap back into sound defensive positioning anytime he makes even a tiny mistake. he's been amazing so far in his rookie season and i hope he continues to grow and develop as an NHL player.

meh, join the club, guy. i think i would rather follow a team that most other fans hate because that means the team you're following is doing something right. i COULD start hating the Red Wings retroactive to the 2008 and 2009 SCFs, but i just don't care enough about them to actively hate them. as far as i'm concerned, they're not a "legit" threat in the Eastern Conference like the Pens and Bruins. Lidstrom retiring and several other factors have contributed to that.

just a few days ago i was talking to my dad about how Letang seems to get hurt more and more every year and he has trouble staying healthy. now this news comes out and i feel like a total jerk. i hope he has a full recovery.

first time poster. im a Pens fan. heres to some quality discussion on these forums i think Despres should be with the big team right now. he certainly deserves it. i understand why he is in the minors but i am not a fan of it.
