That's the surprising part...They have a once in a lifetime tool in the buyouts, they use them and then turn right around and get into financial trouble again with unnecessary contracts that are like albatrosses. Just the mishap with the 'over-35' contract with Pronger was inexcusable...was Homer feeling the affects of his bike accident when he did that?
What I don't get....I believe the Flyers will just end up buying Vinny out if they can't find a trade partner, no way he's on the team come October. If you're going to buy him out, why not just spend that same money to "pick up part of the tab" in a trade? I would just take part of Homer's salary to pay that tab too.
Fiber One cereal is good stuff...def doesn't taste like it has 14g of fiber per serving (talking original here) http://www.fiberone.com/products/cereal/original Also good in that it comes in two bags so it stays fresher longer. I mix it with Peanut Butter granola and chocolate Cheerios.
Craig Button's final list with Sanheim at #8...I know this has been pointed out but nice to actually see. http://www.tsn.ca/draftcentre/feature/?id=49649
Simmonds and Vinny for #1 pick...that's tempting and I'm a HUGE Simmonds fan, may be my fav but that'd be tempting. I do like the kid they drafted though Sanheim.
Think they would just undo the trade with us? http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/2014/6/27/5850528/nhl-trade-rumors-florida-panthers-james-van-riemsdyk-no-1-pick/in/5614765 We do need a topline LW
I like that they're trying to actual get a good defense drafting all this D lately. We're in bizarro Flyers land bit of info http://www.broadstreethockey.com/flyers-draft-nhl/2014/6/27/5851224/travis-sanheim-flyers-nhl-draft-2014
FWIW...I was watching a segment on CSN and they were showing Snider with a bunch of prospects. There was a group gathered around Snider and I picked one out, not knowing who he was, and immediately thought "That's the guy they draft". That kid I picked out ended up being Ekblad.
